Our Process

Transforming Kitchens appreciates the opportunity to work on your kitchen renovation project. Our process begins with our free in-home consultation. Upon arriving at your home, the first thing we want to do is learn about you. We recognize first and foremost this is your kitchen, and we want to find out what you like and dislike about your current design.
After the fact-finding mission, a member of our team will perform a jobsite evaluation of your kitchen components (cabinets, countertops, drawers, etc.) to determine how we can help. Upon completing the evaluation, we will discuss what we think the best course of action will be for you, and show you product samples. Very often, refacing the existing cabinet boxes, replacing the doors, hinges, drawer boxes, and installing new countertops, will dramatically change the appearance of your kitchen. It will also save you a lot of time and money.
Within 48 hours of your in-home consultation, Kitchen Renovation Specialists will provide you with a detailed proposal of your project. Our proposal always includes three different project options with different service and product levels. It’s like receiving three proposals in one. All to help you make the best-informed decision possible.
Upon proposal acceptance (and there’s never any sales pressure) we will develop a realistic project timeline and collect a down payment so that we can get to work on your project.
Before we do anything in your house, we provide you with a list of tips on how to work through your kitchen remodeling project. Our goal is to make the process as convenient as possible. Unless we are performing a complete remodel, when we leave at the end of each day, we want your kitchen to function as normal as possible.
In accordance with your project schedule, we will begin and complete your kitchen renovation project as quickly and professionally as possible while maintaining our high level of craftsmanship. Most projects are completed in less than a week.
We’re just about finished. Upon successful completion of your project, and after a final walk-through, it’s time to collect the final payment. We know that you’ll be so happy with your new kitchen, that you’ll write a fantastic review and tell all your friends about the great experience you had with Transforming Kitchens.
